The movie "Avatar" is ready to hit theaters again

 James Cameron's 2009 Academy Award-winning epic adventure film "Avatar," and one of the most successful films of all time, will return to theaters next September in 4K High Dynamic Range.

As written in a press release on Wednesday, 20th Century Studios has released a new trailer and poster to celebrate the re-release of the 2009 film.

Written and directed by Academy Award winner James Cameron, "Avatar" stars Sam Worthington, Zoe SaldaƱa, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver. The film was produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau.

"Avatar" earned nine Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and Best Director. The film also won three Oscars for Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Visual Effects.
