Black Adam 2 movie soon to be worked on?

 Black Adam is the latest DCEU film that is currently showing in cinemas worldwide. The film, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, focuses on the character Black Adam who has just escaped from the prison that has kept him locked up for 5,000 years. Where he then had to face off against the superhero team Justice Society who eventually allied with him to fight the supervillain Sabbac. It's interesting to see Dwayne Johnson finally playing the character he's been fighting for.

For those who don't know, Johnson has actually expressed interest in playing the character Black Adam since 2006. It was only in 2017 that Warner Bros. Discovery gave the green light for the film Black Adam, with Johnson as the main star. We can imagine, for more than 15 years Johnson has been waiting for the moment where he could emerge as the character he had long hoped for. It is not surprising that so far the Black Adam film has been quite successful worldwide.


Faster Development of Black Adam 2

Even though the Black Adam film has just aired, producers Hiram Garcia and Beau Flynn have already started talking about the prospect of a sequel in the future. Recently in an interview with ComicBook, the two producers guaranteed that the development of the Black Adam 2 film will be much faster than the first film. Check out their full statement below:

“This one will be fast, it won't take long [like the previous film]. I can promise you. We always hope the first domino is the easiest. So we will develop it quickly, that's for sure," Garcia said. Hearing his colleague's statement, Flynn added, “We will [soon] open the magic carriage. We will prepare the script very quickly.”

It makes sense why Garcia and Flynn promised to work on Black Adam 2 sooner. Because the first film itself took about 4 years to develop, with filming only starting in 2021. Of course, with the enthusiasm for the Black Adam film, fans don't seem to want to wait too long for the sequel. However, we need to understand too, the fate of the Black Adam 2 film depends on WBD. For now they still haven't issued an official statement, so we'll just have to wait, geeks.
