New Silent Hill Movie! Konami directed by Christophe Gans

 Silent Hill is a game directed by Konami which was first released in 1999. The first game tells the story of a writer named Harry Mason, when he is looking for his adopted daughter in a town called Silent Hill. After the success of the first game, Konami continued its franchise by working on the second game. It's just that, the second game tells a completely different character, but still takes the same place as the background.

In 2006, Silent Hill also appeared on the big screen. At that time, Christophe Gans was chosen to direct the film. However, the film received negative reviews. A sequel to the film was made in 2012, entitled Silent Hill: Revelation. The film received far more dire reviews than the first film, but even so, it was a box office success. Well now, there is a new attempt to revive the Silent Hill movie.


Konami Working on New Film Silent Hill

Recently, Konami has confirmed that a new Silent Hill film is in development. The film is titled Return to Silent Hill, which was directed by Christophe Gans. Konami also released a teaser trailer that revealed details about the film later, as well as showing some concept art for the film. Interestingly, Return to Silent Hill adapted the story from the game Silent Hill 2, and later became a psychological horror film.

Silent Hill 2 is a game that was released in 2002. The game itself tells of James Sunderland looking for his late wife in a place called Silent Hill. And finally, he found out the real facts of his wife's death. Now for the film later, Christophe Gans will make the film more modern, but also continue to adapt the story from the video game. That means Return to Silent Hill will tell the same story, although there are a few things they'll adjust.

Because it presents the same story, it is possible that classic monsters like Pyramid Head will appear in the film. In addition, there are several other monsters that seem to have to appear, such as Abstract Daddy, Mandarin, Mary, and Flesh Lips, which will certainly make the film more interesting for us to watch.
