 Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is an animated film from the United States that makes an orange cat as the main character. For fans of the animated film Shrek, of course, they are already familiar with the orange cat character. The film, directed by Joel Crawford, is slated to hit theaters on December 21, 2022.

There are several artists who took part in the making of the film as voice actors. Some of these artists include Antonio Banderas (voice of Puss in Boots), Salma Hayek (voice of Kitty Softpaws), Harvey Guillen (voice of Perro), Florence Pugh (voice of Goldilocks), and others. The film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish tells the story of a cat who has a love for adventure until in the end the cat realizes that the adventures he has taken have claimed eight of the nine lives he has.

That's what then made Puss go back on an epic journey with a hope and desire to recover his nine lives. Reporting from the Rotten Tomatoes page, this film received a rating of 95 percent from the tomatoometer rating and 98 percent from the audience.


Synopsis of the film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish tells the story of Puss or a cat who has nine lives. He is depicted with the appearance of a musketeer or superhero. Puss really likes adventure even if it invites danger to his safety. With the nine lives he has, Puss can survive until now. Puss, who has super physical strength and is also good at controlling swords, once had to fight to save a small town in San Ricardo from a big enemy which was a stone monster or Frijoles.

But who would have thought, after his success in defeating the monster, not long after that Puss was actually hit by a large bell ornament that came from the monster's head to kill him. Next, Puss was taken to the hospital. After regaining consciousness, the doctor said that he had actually died in the incident he had experienced. However, Puss actually laughed and said that he had nine lives so it would not be surprising if after being declared dead he could still come back to life.

The doctor then asked Puss about the number of lives he had and how many lives had been reduced. Then Puss tries to remember every moment of the cause of his death and Puss just realizes that he has died 8 times so he only has 1 life left. Therefore, there is only one answer to being able to recover his nine lives, namely by finding the Mythical Last Wish.

Together with his friend Kitty Softpaws, Puss begins his adventure again to find the Mythical Last Wish by preserving the last life he has. So, will Puss be able to keep the rest of his life and meet the Mythical Last Wish?
