Richard Gere

Carmine Caridi

Carmine Caridi is a legendary actor who has appeared in two Godfather films. But behind his success, Carmine Caridi was expelled from the Oscars in 2004. Caridi became the first person ever expelled (not banned) from the Academy Awards. At that time, it was revealed that Carmine Caridi was distributing various pirated films to his immediate family. And for what he did, Caridi was fined $ 300 thousand by a United States judge, and he was also ordered to pay attorneys' fees from the two studios who sued him. Even though he was kicked out of the Oscars, Carmine still continued to work in the film industry until his death in 2019.


Harvey Weinstein

In 2017, Harvey Weinstein was accused of assaulting multiple women. Harvey Weinstein may be famous as a Hollywood producer, but he has also starred in several films such as An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn and Bride & Prejudice. It was because of that legal case that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences removed Harvey Weinstein from the Oscars. Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby is one of the most controversial actors in Hollywood. He drugged and assaulted multiple women in 2005. The former comedian and actor was eventually kicked out of an Academy Award after what he did. Strangely, Geeks, Bill Cosby was released from prison because his sentence was canceled by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, United States.
