Scopper Gaban Will Appear in One Piece 1072

 It is widely predicted that the figure of Scopper Gaban will return towards the end of One Piece's story, where maybe he will help Luffy get to Laugh Tale. Scopper Gaban might become another guiding figure for Luffy. Or it could also be that he is an important figure to reveal various secrets, either about the world's secrets or about Laugh Tale.

Gol D. Roger is the only pirate known to have reached Laugh Tale Island. Together with his crew, Roger managed to overcome various obstacles and managed to find all four Road Poneglyphs before he made it to Laugh Tale. After that, he decided to disband his crew. After Rayleigh, Scopper Gaban is believed by fans to be the next important Roger crew to appear.


Who is Scopper Gaban

Scopper Gaban is one of Roger's confidants, besides Silvers Rayleigh. He sailed to the last island with the rest of Roger's crew. Considering his status in the crew, there is a possibility that Scopper Gaban was one of the early crew members who joined Roger. The captain himself described Scopper Gaban as one of the best in his crew, which could mean he was very strong.

Until now, we ourselves still don't know exactly how strong Roger is. However, from what is shown in the story, we can be sure that Roger is a strong figure.

Until now, we never know what happened to Scopper Gaban after Roger disbanded his crew. The last time Scopper Gaban appeared was in Kozuki Oden's flashback.

In this moment, Roger is shown fighting Whitebeard on an island. And Scopper Gaban himself was seen with Rayleigh fighting other Whitebeard crews. Although Scopper Gaban's fate is unknown, many fans believe that he is still alive. The fans believe that Scopper Gaban is waiting for Luffy on the last island. There was also speculation that Scopper Gaban would appear in Wano.

After the disbandment of Roger's group, the entire crew was free to determine their own path. We can see how Crocus chose to live quietly with Laboon. Then we see Rayleigh who chooses to live a quiet life as a ship painter at Sabaody. There is also a crew that decided to seek their own fame, as shown by Shanks and Buggy.

Did Scopper Gaban choose to hide and live quietly like Crocus and Rayleigh? It could be. Perhaps, he was currently on Lodestar Island, the last island in the Grand Line before Laugh Tale Island. Scopper Gaban could be waiting for someone worthy to go to Laugh Tale. Or it could also be that he is waiting on the nearby island of Laugh Tale to guard the island.

Although the fate of Scopper Gaban is still a mystery, many fans have speculated that he will have a role like Rayleigh to become a mentor to Luffy in the future. As we know, during the timeskip Rayleigh was the one who taught Luffy how to use Haki techniques. He was also the one who trained Luffy for those two years.

Maybe, this is also what will happen to Scopper Gaban when he meets Luffy. Some scenarios that might happen are Scopper Gaban will train Luffy or train Luffy in abilities that have never been shown before in the One Piece story. Then, it's also possible that Scopper Gaban will guide Luffy so he can go to Laugh Tale.

After he feels that Luffy is fit to continue his journey to Laugh Tale, Scopper Gaban will give instructions on how to get there. Or it could also be that Scopper Gaban is an important figure who will reveal history that may only be known. In essence, this important figure of Roger's former crew will return towards the end of the series and will have a role in the story.
