How DC Universe Connects Games with Movies & Series

 Marvel Studios is currently busy with various MCU projects they are currently working on. So far, perhaps the MCU has become the grandest universe ever created, because it includes series and films. But soon, the majesty of the MCU will be rivaled by the DC Universe.

DC Studios has a more ambitious plan, where they will unite films, live action series, series, animation, and video games in the same universe. That means that the DC Universe will not only be a spectacle, because it will also present its interactive side through video games.

James Gunn, who is a representative for DC Studios, has also stated that each character in the film, live action series, animated series, and video game will be played by the same person. Even though it will be very tiring for the cast, it is like a sacrifice that must be made in order for the DC Universe to become bigger.

The biggest question left is how to unite the video game with the DC Universe films and series. Recently, James Gunn revealed what plans he would use to connect the newest DC Universe video game with the series and films.

It is stated that James Gunn and his team will create a new story in the game, where the story will become a bridge to other DC Universe films and series. Gunn also mentioned that people who don't play the video games can still follow the stories of the films and series.

Interestingly, James Gunn mentioned how long it took his team for them to finish the game, and make the story connected. According to Gunn, an AAA game takes about four years to make.

This means that it is very likely that we will see DC's first game in 2027. Unfortunately, James Gunn still hasn't announced the first game they will make, and the developers who will work on it.

This is how it's possible the DC Universe will soon outperform the MCU. Since appearing in 2008, Marvel Studios has only focused on films. While recently they expanded the MCU with a series. And will the new games Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Wonder Woman be part of Elseworlds?

Director Leaves, Dune Prequel Filming Postponed
